You can put Windowleen on the inside of the greenhouse glass so the rain does'nt wash it off.
Cheap and effective. Just rub it off when you no longer need it.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

I hadn't thought about shading the greenhouse - doh. I was fine without it last year buy maybe that was down to lack of sun...
OH has just told me that when we bought the norfolk one it says do not use shading paint on the plastic.

I might be off down the charity shops for more netting.... I can feel a sewathon coming on lol

My window is on the gable end Womble, not the roof, so no problem there

Old cast off rollerblinds do the trick for me. They are mounted on the ridge on the outside (South side ) of the greenhouse. They allow enough light through and are easily rolled up on less sunny days. No problems opening the window either.
