Ok I am new to this and wasnt sure if this should go here or in neshoots but thought here would be more appropriate.

I currently don't own any fleece, I was thining of getting some for unexpected frosts and to protect my carrots from carrot fly.

do I just lay it directly onto my crops and peg it down or do i need to make some tunnel frames for it.

    Thank you in advance

You can do either but to be most effective, just drape it loosely over the crop and either peg or weigh it down. It can remain inplace until your carrots are ready to harvest as it lets through the rain and light - only trouble would be weeding.

brilliant, thank you for your speedy response, I can just lift it up the fleece to weed it the ground is pretty weed free as i cleared it in august and have keep it clear since.
(am i going to regret saying that?)

and that will be so much easier then building mini tunnels
