I had a look at the Norfolk but have gone for the Halls Popular 6x8 from Greenhouses galore.Just a matter of waiting now.

Yesterday i bought one of those small 2 tier mini greenhouses so i can grow on my seedlings, the kitchen was getting a bit crowded with pots and propagator so needed to put them out somewhere so the mini greenhouse is just to fill the gap till the biggie arrives.Hopefully soon.

      Glass Box.

I have only just seen this thread, I would have suggested getting lots of brochures from Adverts from the backs of Gardening Magazines and seeing what suits you best.

I can only recommend the The Greenhouse People Ltd | wooden greenhouses | greenhouse heaters | small greenhouses as that it where mine came from.

I opted for the Toughened glass and extra top and louvered vents and rain pipe kits, it pushed the price up, but I had saved Xmas money and Birthday Money to put towards it.

Its a 6X8 and at the moment its not big enough.!!

Hope you get on well with your new purchase, and give yourself plenty of time to put it up.

And when you get your new glasshouse you can use those zip up jobs, without plastic as temporary staging.

The greenhouse arrived yesterday and only took 2 weeks.

Now the process of putting it all together starts.I saw all those nuts and bolts and pieces of metal and went ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHH

And to make matters worse yesterday we had howling winds all afternoon and today its raining.

            Ooooh, exciting Davdandy

I hope our weather isn't coming from your side of the pennines, coz it's actually dry here so far! Perhaps you'll get ours instead - it might be dry this aft?

Just make sure your kids aren't around when you're putting it up or they might learn a few new words from their Daddy

I certainly used a few words that the neighbours did not realise were in my vocabulary. I only just finished mine today, the w in w clip standands for w***** clip - almost lost the top of my finger!
Excuse me, could we have an eel? You've got eels down your leg.

Good luck erecting it! I'm tentatively on the hunt for one, now. Am thinking of knocking on someone's door who is committing Greenhouse Abuse and saying I've had a report through the Greenhouse Welfare Society and that I am taking their greenhouse into care...

Good luck with the new greenhouse davdandy. I hope it has guttering. You'd be amazed at how much water comes off a small roof and how handy it is to have a supply right beside the greenhouse.
A good beginning is half the work.
Praise the young and they will make progress.

My eldest girl heard a few colourful words from me,as true to her clumsy form fell over the site frame as i asked her to hold it up for me while i secure the other sides.I should have known, butter fingers where not the words spoken too by the way.

Yesterday was a successful day as i got 95% of the greenhouse finished, just a couple of tweaks to do and then install the gutting for the water butt.I *borrowed* some piping and fittings from work.*cough-cough*.

Then i shall need to sort some kind of staging, any ideas on what to use,on the cheap that is?

                          now staging ...i know a bout ....

I went to my local roofing company and bought 2 x packs of treated roof batten 2" x1" ....and armed with a chop saw and a load of 1 1/2" x 8 screws ...I managed to make two removeable top shelves ,two removeable bottom shelves ...a narrower rear shelf ...and two uprights for raised borders each side of the path ....the shelves needed a middle support ...but i wanted it all removeable ,this was atchieved by fixxing the middle suopport to the up right for the raised border at the bottom and where the shelves meet the middle suport ....I drilled through the lot and pinned them together with a few old tent pegs ....solid and works a treat ......

I'll try to post some pics ......its a bit difficult to explain ....took me all of sunday to do tho'

                            hope this works

firstly made a raised bed (or going to be) on one side

then another for the other side ....with a frame and some removeable bottom shelves

all shelves together ...the rear and the four side shelves are removeable

I've given it all a good push and pull ....and its all well sturdy

the bottom shelves just rest on the middle support

the top ones to stop them being pulled forward have two old tent pegs in the rear support which is fixed permenantly ,and two in the middle front support to stop it being accidently knocked out

                            hope this helps

                              That's great Nomates.

Given me some interesting ideas,i was looking into doing in metal but your staging really looks the part as well as being practical. And i suppose easy enough to assemble.

I have all the tools at hand so should pose no problems.

                              Thanks again Nomates.
