  • The Rhino Has Arrived!!!!!!

    Hi All

The 6x6 Rhino in Green arrived yesterday......just checked the glass - all looks fine. Hoping that the weather is good for the weekend as me and a mate are putting it up (with the promise of a few beers and a BBQ).....

Most impressed with the delivery process...driver was very concienthus...if you do order one - remember always offer them a drink - even for my 6x6 he was here for 30 minutes.

Unpacked the instructions from the End Panel box - good god - we're gonna have some fun this weekend!!!!!

Will Update as and when - you never know you might get some photos!!!!

    Hi Pieman

I got a Rhino last year. I posted some pictures of the whole process you can see them if you do a search.

I hope your foundations are level and square (Really Really Level and square ) If so you will have no trouble if not you will find getting the glass fitted an impossible task.

I hope you ordered the tool kit

Best of luck and post some pictures!!!

I helped my Dad build his Rhino about eight years ago. It took us the whole Easter weekend, but it is a fabulous Greenhouse. Have fun with your giant Meccano set lol!

Nice one, was in a garden the other day walked past greenhouse and without even noticing the name knew it was a Rhino straight away so strong and sturdy theres was about 10x8 i think, stood there gazing at it, it had about 3 automatic vents , sigh, one can dream.

          Good luck with it!!

We're starting the polytunnel build this weekend - our instructions sound equally daunting and are about 20 pages long

Well = we started this morning.....got stuck on page 1 - but to be fair, the instructions don't actually specify the 6x6 greenhouse so you have to guess that the side diagonal sruts aren't required...... ALSO for info - in the 2009 Rhino's the Eave section is now numbered R08 not R03..... (Due to the upgrade of the Guttering section. I was informed by a very friendly installer Bill (who was actually installing for a customer around a mile away from me - not bad when you consider he had travelled from Norfolk/Cambs area - If you read this Bill - Thanks For your guidance - most appreciated.

Anyway glazing is going in tomorrow morning......will post some pictures when I get them altogether.....off for a rest!!!

              It's Up And Glazed!!!

As promised some pictures of the Greenhouse.....still some jobs to do, like fill it with proper earth and build the staging - will post some more piccies when completed.

              Here is the site.....

              The Frame Is Complete....

              We're halfway Glazed.....

              We're fully glazed.....

The blue crosses are on the glass as a reminder to me and my mate there was glass there as we had been in and out through the frame plus somethign for the kids to stop before running into the glass!!!
