hi all, has anyone used these (like the ones from Wilcos)_?I'd like one in my garden to try cucumbers and things, I cant have a glass one due to an incredibly clumsy and stoopid staffy bull terrier
yes nikiwitch, I've used one before, just a small two tier one. however have just acquired a 4 tier one to use nearer the house. We don't get Wilco stuff in Scotland, I don't think, but I can't think what you're looking at is different from what I've got...so basically to answer you, you'll be able to grow cukes in your plastic greenhouse like you would in a glass house.
If you do a search for plastic greenhouses in the search section, you will get other info also - have fun

Yep, we started with it in the back yard the first year, it did really well! Last year it was on the plot, did ok, and this year its just been reset up, and filled with peppers in growbags! Think we're gonna need a new cover for it for next year!

mrs d, where would we get plastic covers? I think I might need one for the one I've just acquired?
Lots of places do the covers, B&Q, wyevales, poundstretcher, wilkos, just take a measurement of the one you have (or the frame if theres no cover) and buy the nearest size you can!

Thats useful to know! I have a 5 tier and both the zips have broken, the flap is held shut with elephant tape at the moment!
