    1) Keep the area about it when building clear as the plastic is easily snagged
    and torn.

    2) Get the same said plastic as tight as possible when constructing it.

    3) Take your time and read any instructions very carefully.

Hi Steve, cant really add anything to PW's advice, as we dont have a PT, but I did want to say congrats on the polytunnel!

Thanks Piglet & Mrs Dobby as the weathers still a little windy I will have to wait a few days before it goes up and stays up ( fingers crossed )

          Something else Steve.

As we've had a lot of rain forecast, try covering the area with some polythene to stop it getting wet. A poly tunnel doesn't have the same ventilation as a greenhouse & it took me ages tor dry the soil out & nothing it more dangerous for seedlings than warm & damp as the soil tries to dry out.

Make sure the site is completely prepared before putting it up. It has to be level, dry and clear. Oh, and do it on a dry day with no wind, the wind is a real PITA, DAMHIKT! Take your time with it, running repairs on a poly tunnel are also a PITA, DAMHIKT!

Yes, I was going to mention watch the levels. I thought my area was flat, but any slight slope looks greater when in an enclosed space!

Oh yes and don't choose a windy day! and get lots of friends to help put the plastic on. You need a person at each corner and two to run around and secure as a minimum.
