Hi Everyone,
Just posted about some problems with vandalism in another area and i'm also after some advice about polycarb.
My greenhouse has become a target practice for the local @@@@'s and i have decided that rather than take a cricket bat to them, i will take the easier (but some may argue less satisfying) option of replacing the glass with polycarb sheets (the double layer one like corrugated cardboard).
The local garden centre (heighley gate) have got loads left over from when they replaced their roofing in 6mm size which what i think i want. As it is second hnd and has been in place for ages it has gone white/opaque.
Is it still ok to use or will it just completely block the light?
If it's going to be no good i'll have to source somewhere that sells it locally, but i can see there are already a few threads about that
Thanks for any advice given, you never know one day i may be able to offer some
Sean
