Vent glass keeps popping out!

When the weather gets windy (and boy, has it been windy lately), the glass in my automatic vent appears to have been blown out - I have found it on the ground next to the greenhouse- fortunately unbroken, although I fear it's only a question of time before it is smashed.

What should I do? Should I seal it into its frame somehow?

I used to have the same problem, I just went to Wilkos and bought more glazing clips and put about six on each side. if you seal it with mastic etc it really is a pig to remove if the pane does get broken. or you could try moving the vent to the other side away from the prevailing wind

I think we've all met it. I live in the windiest place in Scarborough over looking Cayton Bay which is used by national standard surfers, and had the same prob. I did what you did (literally, including Wilko's) and no more problems.
