How much bubblewrap?

I've had a search but can't find the answer - apologies if it has been asked before.

I have been a wee bit overeager and have what feels like several hundred seedlings in the conservatory! Now while hubby is pretty understanding, he is getting to the fed up stage and asked (ever so nicely), if perhaps I'd like to put them in the "VERY EXPENSIVE greenhouse" i bought last year for just that purpose! Kind of get the hint!

So i'm thinking i'll bubblewrap it and use the heater. heated it last year but cost a fortune so thinking if i bubblewarp for a few weeks it should be a bit cheaper.

my problem is i am rubbish at maths of any kind and i dont know how much to buy. hopefully someone can help.

Greenhouse is 10 x 8 feet (wish i'd bought bigger though!!) so how much do i buy and can anyone suggest a good place to buy it from please?

Have a look here on the Harrods horticultural site there's a chart on how much to buy according to the size of greenhouse. I should check other sites for prices as well.

If I knew the height of the green house I would be able to give you the exact figure you would need as I'm a tiler by day and calculating areas is an everyday thing. Saying that I did a quick search for you and this came up.

If it works out too expensive then maybe think about putting a temporary divide inside and only bubble a smaller area of the greenhouse.

I would block out too much light in your greenhouse even though I'm not all that large (5'8" & 12 stone).

You are very good, i have held off sowing as much as i can for the same reason, my hubbie would wonder why i am not putting it in the v expensive greenhouse. as much as i put the parafin heater on to take the edge off the chill it is very different to heating it to a temp of 60-70'.

does bubble wrap make much of a difference as it might be something i have to consider for next winter

do you have to put bubble wrap on every bit including the roof? And would I be right in thinking it goes on the inside? How do you stick it on? I can imagine my oh having a field day laughing at me trying to stick it on, especially if I did it wrong
