I bought a 6x4 polycarb 2 years ago and ended up getting a 6x8 last week so now have 2. Get the best & biggest you can afford.

          Hi Bigmallly

Did yours come as a flat pack that you had to make and if it did how hard was it to attach polycarb to the greenhouse frame.

          Thanks for your help,Ian

Putting the poly in the frame was the easy part once I sussed out the W clip thingys, it was building the frame on my own that was the bagger.

Looking at the picture, and reading the description, I would say that they are selling Norfolk 'Standard' Greenhouses (NOT Norfolk 'Ultimate'!), and adding a hefty mark-up to them

We have 2 of them - a 6x4 in the back garden and a 6x12 in the allotment. The covering is marvellous for the allotment - it doesn't blow out like polycarb, and the structure is very stable in the wind. However the instructions for construction are terrible. We managed to build ours though Pics of the big one are in my album on my profile.

If you want to buy one, I suggest that you buy it direct from Norfolk though - they sell the 6x4 for less than £70, and the 6x12 is only £130... Just Google Norfolk Greenhouses.

wow! a greenhouse in my price bracket and the size I want!

that can't be right *confused* that NEVER happens to me!

I really want somewhere to grow chillis and tomatoes that isn't outdoors but I only want a small space and the norfolk ones look great for a beginner

Actually, I just looked, and the price of the biggest has gone up a tad since I bought mine

Ian, glad I could help But, be prepared for a bit of cursing - the instructions left a lot to be desired when we got ours

Oh. Was the book that came with our's instructions? My retired hard landscaper mate came to put mine up, with a little help from me, and the first thing he did (after swearing loudly) was to throw the book away, go online to get a picture of an assembled one, and work from that.
Why didn't Noah just swat those 2 greenflies?

Why are they called apartments when they are all stuck together?

OK then the instructions are less then perfect then but it looks like a good little greenhouse i am thinking of sitting it on top of some black plastic and then covering the plastic with old slabs. I would have liked a bigger one but the rules are that no sheds or greenhouse can be bigger than 6ft x 4ft.

Thanks for all the help and advice,Ian

Heavens Sarraceniac.. Did you get a booklet?! I'm pretty sure we only got a photocopied sheet... But, as I said, we got ours built in the end, just takes time and common sense

Ian, we have the 6x4 in our back garden. It's small, but, great for bringing things on early in the season, cheaper to heat than a big one if you choose to, and it will fit half a dozen tomato plants in, no problem.

When we bought our g'house, OH and I looked carefully through the instructions, looked carefully at each other and then said "Let's get a man in."! It saved our relationship! Good luck Ian
