Yesterday was a wonderful sunny day so I decided to give my old greenhouse benches a coat of wood preserve.
I use a non toxic brown I got from B&Q.
It takes a bit of time to do all the main beams and slats but they look a treat afterwards. Just got to re-assemble them now.
Also I think the wood preserve acts as a disinfectant.
I used to use ***** Fluid but recently it does not seem the same. It used to go white in water and have a lovely tarry smell which gave you confidence it was working.
It seems completly different nowadays.
Any one else noticed this ?
