greenhouse heater advice plz

hi i have just purchased a parasene super-warm5 it says it is for up to a 6x8 which is the size mine is. I would appreciate all the advice you can give me as i am a total beginner and i'd like to know what temperature it would be possible to sustain. Would i be able to get it warm enough to start things like tomatos off in there and any idea where to look for cheap paraffin? As the tubs in the shop seem a bit pricey and are there any tips you more experienced growers have?

I have just purchased one of these for my polytunnel, cant seem to get the wicks the right length either to long and smoke bellows out or too short and gone out the next day!
