I've nodded off in front of the woodburning stove I have in the greenhouse before!My Majesty made for him a garden anew in order

I have slept in my polytunnel twice - both times after being invited up to the farm for a few drams with my mate - only we both tend to lose count and start reliving our college adventures.Rat

Not the greenhouse as mine is only a small plastic one only just fits a stool inside. But i have nodded of in the shed a few times, sat in there and sulked a few times as well , had a nice wee heater in there, electric, a cd player and a nice comfy chair.

Not in the greenhouse, but just outside it on a sunlounger. Many years ago we were forecast to see an eclipse of the moon so me and son number one decided we would stay up and watch it. We took a sleeping bag out, set up the sunlounger and got comfy. Guess who nodded off?

Falling asleep in a sunlounger doesn't count! That happens alot in our household during the summer after BBQ's and when there are moon eclipses, comets, meteor showers, solar eclipses, rumours of the Norther Lights coming south etc etc. We need to know if you have slept in the GH and why. I have do it to chek me auto vent works - breath taking technology!!!

We've got one of the walk-in plastic growhouses - it's similar size to a proper greenhouse though.
I personally have never slept in it as I am aware of a very large spider that resides in it. The dog, however, thinks its a wonderful place to sleep whilst i'm out in the garden. Mind you, that's probably because it has a old bit of carpet as it's floor!

Lady S. used to sleep in the greenhouse. When I saw the price of automatic vent controllers I thought it would be better if there was a cold snap during the night because she could then light the stove. The greenhouse is now so full though that she has had to move to just outside it. But I spared no expense (as long as it was cheaper than the auto-vent) on making her comfortable. I got her an excellent 2nd hand sleeping bag, which is hardly thread-bare at all, and some warm red flannels at our local car boot and, to avoid her having to get out of the sleeping bag 4 or 5 times to check during the night in January, I even went to the trouble of moving the thermometer and turning it round so she can see if the temperature in the green house is dipping towards zero. She can then get out of the bag and light the paraffin stove I bought (also from the car boot). It is really expensive to keep it running all night but I have calculated that over this winter we have saved £15.73p by this method. And that is after taking into account the big box of Lemsips that I bought for her.Why didn't Noah just swat those 2 greenflies?
Why are they called apartments when they are all stuck together?

Not sure if this will work or not, but this thread reminds me of the first chapter from one of the books by my favourite author.
If it works, and you have the time, have a read;
