New greenhouse help

I have managed to get myself a greenhouse, I am keeping it at home and not taking it down the plat as I think it will need more attention than I could give it down the plot plus have the space in the garden.

I have two questions;
1 what should I grow is there a planting calendar available?
2 What is the best layout? straight into ground/ into growbags / pots this year then spill the compost and into the ground next year?

It is an 8ft x 6ft greenhouse unheated and the door is on the 8ft side.

GH growing is a really steep learning curve. Either buy or borrow a good book on the subject - I love the "Expert" books. Personally, I don't grow in the ground - I have the same size as you. I use it mainly for getting a head start on the season, and feeding the SFG beds. At the moment, I've got : Toms, mangetout peas, french beans, lettuce, cabbage, roquette, tatoes, spinach,sweet peas, courgettes, some flowers, spring onions, edible flowers, beetroot, kohlrabi..... it's looking good!

I will buy book did the same when we got the plot we are just finishing year 1 there and its been a learning curve and a half, although looking around we seem to be at the same stage as the old guys - for some reason we are copying them...better than any book.
