Greenhouse and Transit Van

I have acquired myself a rather nice 12 x 8 greenhouse but now have the problem of getting it home. I have already worked out it won't go in the car so think I should hire a van. My problem is the person I have bought it from says that the longest rails which are 12 foot are one long length and not two bolted together does anyone have experience of transporting this size if so how can I fit it in a van and if not what other vehicle will it fit.

A luton van should be big enough for the 12' lengths to go on the bulkhead down to the back at an angle. Does that make sense?

Lutons are 13' long.

We hired a van from Target - very large jobbie, in which we moved two sheds, cold frame, mounts of compost, tools etc etc etc - it only cost us £57 for 24 hours. Excellent value I think

Thank you all very much why do we do these things in the name of veg growing and self sufficiency, my husband also thought of a luton so that is the route we are going to take. Thanks all again, knew there would be some good brains on here.

I've got it and it fitted inside the luton van no trouble at all, all in pieces at the allotment just needs building now, I am like a kid with a new toy and can't wait to get going with it.

I'm so jealous - we had a 6' by 4' greenhouse advertised on our local freecycle! Sadly couldn't take advantage of the offer!

If you find you need nuts& bolts , Wilkos have got them in by the packet. I think they have w clips as well.
