companies that put up your greenhouse!

Think that title is suitably un-offensive ...

We want a greenhouse but DON'T want to put it up ourselves! Done that once, survived with our marriage in tact, but only just. An experience never to be repeated. This greenhouse was a freecycle variety - a friend's mum's, so we dismantled (or dismangled) it and remangled it at the lottie. Now we're moving and I want one in my garden.

Does anyone know any companies that put them up for you, and thus save much terror and anxiety on the marriage front??? Hmmmm?????

If you lived near to me there are a couple of firms that sell & erect Greenhouses but not sure about south of the county.

Are you moving your exististing one or buying new?

I'm buying new! My old one has been bequeathed to new allotment guardian, but this one's going in my own new garden. Maybe your north of county guys might venture into the wilds of S Warks/Glouc??? If not it gives me some hope that there may be someone who would do the honours!!!

I know the folks at the local garden centre install but they are more expensive than the online folks for the greenhouses and they are based in Birmingha and have outlets at 2 or 3 Garden centres (I'll look out their name) failing that why not buy one from Altons in Fenny Compton - nice wooden frame I bet they would install.

Hi Sweetcorn. I shall dig out the list of installers which the greenhouse people sent to me when I bought a greenhouse from them. However, my advice is to ring at least a couple as the prices vary massively. For my 8x10 greenhouse, I had one quote for £220 and one for £420!!!
I'll go and look for it now.

Not sure if you are classed as the south west/south wales or the Midlands but you could try these:-

Richard Hannant - 07779 801546. This was the guy who put mine up. Really nice and hard working. I know he flits from London to Nottinghamshire and the info says he works in the south east but it may be worth a phone call. He may have put his prices up as I told him he was much cheaper than the other quote!

Leigh Goodchild - 07971 251 261 - lives in Hereford but works in the south west / Wales.

Garry Hambley - 07976 721747 - lives in Trowbridge and works from the south west & Wales over to London.

Daryl Evans - 07815 030470 - lives in Melksham & covers south west.

DHD Services - based in Birmingham but work nationwide - 07980 435827.

Thanks v. much for the info Jools!!! House move looks like it might (keep everything crossed!) go ahead, and I went looking at 'houses on Tuesday. Was rediculously excited. Hopefully one of the guys you mention will come to the cotswolds where we're moving to.
