Cheap glass alternative?

Hi Guys,

I justgotmy hands on a free greenhouse. There was 1 big pane missingand 2small triangle panes missing.Other than that its great. It has a sliding door and openable window which I intend to automate eventually. My question is what is the best way to replace panes cheaply? use glass from local glazier or use a cheaper alternative. I think I will just cover with polythene till I decide.

Gonna try re assemble the 3d puzzle tomorrow luckily I marked all the panes and took loads of pics

Hi Haza - some greenhouse glass was offered for free on my local freecycle - why not try yours? Not sure where you are though!

i had the same problem 4 small triangle piece's among others were smshed when i got mine, i bought polly cabonate sheets,from my local garden centre, and just cut them to fit, for the small trangle pieces"s cut some cardboard to the correct size, then put it on the pollycarb and mark it and cut it,hope this helps.

Panic over. A kind man on my site cut some spare sheets for me. Also gass places are quite cheap as it happens. Who would have thought it.
