Help with Belmont Elite 8' by 12' GH

Any tips on erecting the above as I've promised to help a friend who's just taken delivery...:

I've built a few 8x6 BillyOh type GHs but this one has the base integral to all the sides....i.e. it looks like you have to build the 2 sides and 2 ends seperately flat then lift them upright and join them at the 4 corners.

It looks a nightmare as it's so big - has anyone done one of these?

I got a lot of help here with my first GH so I'm hoping....!

I helped my Dad build his Rhino, about eight or nine years ago, and that was put together in sections, then bolted together. We built two sections each, then joined it all together. We had no other help, just the two of us and the instruction sheets. It took the whole of the Easter weekend, but we did it, and it's a big greenhouse.

If your friend doesn't have the instructions, you'll be stuck! Good luck with it.

I had to build my 8x10 that way, richardbees - the only "issue" I had, was that by myself the frame sections were too flimsy so I had to get my mrs to hold the other ends of them (via a broom too as she's not very tall - and has the arm span of, well something not very wide ) - as soon as you get the first couple of bolts in, the rest is easy as the ends have some support.

Other than that, just making sure the braces are in the right holes was the only other thing I found the instructions weren't that clear about. good luck!

Can I ask how you got on and what were your thoughts on the Belmont Elite?.I'm thinking of buying an 8 foot 5 inch by 14 foot 5 inch one from the incredibly sensible greenhouse company.
