  • Any recommendations on a suitable Polytunnel for a school allotment project?

    Hi
Have realised I posted this question in the wrong section...so have moved it to here now...

"Thanks for all your good advice on veg/fruit to plant out this term with the children, we had a great planting session last week with lots of enthusiastic children!
We have now won a grant from Herts Garden Trust, with which we are going to buy a polytunnel and I would love some advice as to a good sturdy make of polytunnel, we have about 5m x 5m of space to utilise, and would love to know where I could purchase one? Am thinking online...?
    Thanks
    Jo "

Hi Jo. I'm sure someone will help you decide. I'm afraid I have no experience with polytunnels apart from very small ones you make like cloches.

I'm also planning a school allotment project but have decided on a polycarbonate greenhouse instead of a polytunnel. Mostly because it will be more resistant to vandalism and won't need recovering.

Saying that though I haven't totally made my mind up and could do with someone advising me on a good manufacturer/fitter

Can anyone on the vine advise either of us
