Heating Plastic.....

Hi all,
As some of you may know, i have a medium sized plastic greenhouse.
How can i heat/insulate it without using a heater???

I used bubble wrap and that worked well.

I know this may seem a stupid question..... But how do you keep it on/up??

Hi Lynn,

I used it on my mini greenhouse and just put around each of the shelves. If you have a larger area I would use sticky tape. Just remember to leave some space for air to circulate as it could become really hot in there.

I would sometimes take it off or fold it down on really sunny days so as not to cook everything inside.

I was planning on just putting it around the the sides of the greenhouse and leave the roof as it is.
Would that be ok??

I asked this question once before (possibly on another forum) and someone suggested putting a candle on a paving slab, surround with 4 bricks and put a metal lid on top. Although it is just one candle, it will warm the greenhouse and there is no fire risk as it is shaded by the bricks/metal bucket or whatever
