  • Latest tomato?

I am still picking cherry tomatoes and there's still flowers on the plants,I've never been picking them in November in my life. They're in a lean to porch,so get some heat from the house, but this far north we're not getting much daylight, very unusual, global warming?

I picked some this week [although admittedly in Oxford] in one of my schools; and will pick more next week in the cotswolds.

It's more about the warmth this time of year - and it's been really warm these last few weeks...

Made a start in stripping my greenhouse of toms this evening so I can house the chooks in it for the winter. Problem is there are still loads of toms on, quite a few of which are ripe, just I haven't got round to picking them yet!

I usually pick a few into November in an unheated greenhouse in Glasgow. The best variety for late picking is Sungold.

Yes realfood, i am still picking Sungold and they are outdoors under a south facing wall. Last year they were also the last to give up and they went on and on.

I think the plants are now showing signs of wear and tear, still got a few to pick yet though.
