One of our neighbour's is moving on the 17th of this month and my wife's just cadged the green house they were leaving as nobody wanted it, not seen it yet but got to move it quick, any tips?
If they are next door, you may be able to remove the glass (carefully) and then two people can lift the whole structure (depending on how big it is). I was able to do this for a 6x8 aluminium one.
Its at the top of our street, I don't think I get it through or gate either It will go on one of my lottie plots eventually. I'm going to have to take the glass out first and store it safely, I'm just wondering if I could move it one panel at a time..
He said it has a automatic window and it has lots of clips with it,The wife round there now so will know more later..
Not sure what you mean by one panel at a time. Removing the glass has to be done as they add up to a lot of weight and will break easily if left in place.

What I mean by panel by panel is there are 2 side panels and a front and back panel then there's the roof, can I not move it in bit like? not not sure as I've never had a greenhouse or took much notice how there put together when I've been I them..

Pity about it not getting through or over your gate, next doors gave me their 8x6 greenhouse we took the glass out the 3 of us lifted the frame over our 5 foot wall.
Just thinking is there any chance you could keep it in your front garden until its time to move it onto the lottie. Or failing that the roof and side panels should unbolt then you'd probably have to buy new bolts when its time to rebuild.

I don't think that can be done as the corners are shared by the side and end panels. You might be able to maintain part of the sides but the roof attaches to it so it depends how the greenhouse is constructed really.

anyway congrats on your freebie
This is a 8x6 greenhouse too BIP, my gate and fence are about 6 foot but I'm going to ask a mate to come and have a look see what he thinks, there's no chance of the OH lifting it with me as she's got bad sciatica. The front gardens really open so I'd rather not leave it there, the chap who giving it us has told the OH that it will split in to 6 panels but I can't say anything till tomorrow morning when I go and have a look, there is a base with it.

If the base is fixed to the ground and it's too much hassle, you can either buy a new base, or make one (either breezeblock/bricks if you're skillful (need to get the lip right -unless you batton it too?) - or with a wooden frame + pegs)..

That's how we did mine, blocks on a concrete foundation with a tanalised lath on top for the greenhouse to sit on, then it was all screwed together.
