A New Greenhouse Required

it needs to be 6x4 with the door on the 4ft side
inc base and glass
Which is the best glass to use toughend or horti glass
ive seen one on B&q site for £399.00
Which seems good
But would like all your opinion

I don't think you need toughened glass unless you have kids (who might run into it etc) or yobs throwing stones etc.

In a small greenhouse cooling in the summer is often more of an issue (than a larger greenhouse), so I recommend 2 roof vents and perhaps a louvre window low down (so on normal days you can open the louvre to get convection, and on very hot days you can open the door to get a draught [which is less good for the plants, but hopefully by then they will be big enough to fend for themselves!])

Automatic openers for the Windows in case you are away?

My greenhouses came off eBay (so may be completely irrelevant to you), but I got a 5-year-old aluminium 30' x 10' for £400. They come up on freecycle too.

I have my door away from the prevailing wind (to hopefully have less chance of blight being blown into the greenhouse) - probably splitting hairs though!

May not be relevant for a small house, but I have a slight slope in my footings to the back, so that the gutters run that way, and into a water butt.

You could always make a timber frame for the base, anchor that down and screw the frame directly into it... if you went 2nd hand?

I've just ordered mine from the greenhouse people, if your local to stoke on trent they have some unbelievable bargins for people going, dissembling them and taking them home with them

If not, they have some good deals, ask them about any discount schemes they have as there are some valid for 10% off

They were extremely helpful over the phone, and when they delivered my friends were also helpful, she's not had any problems wither hers at all
