ours has smaller slabs on top of weed fabric,i find nice in two respects,A ti's easy to keep clean/sweep the bits of it,B holds the heat for later in the day,C if you need to create humidity when hot, water it,

Some great ideas here - glad this thread has continued I am preparing to put the polytunnel up for the second time in a different (more sheltered) place this year because last year it started to blow over in May when it was really windy here even though it was dug in!! I didn't get the chance to start the path!!!
(However, if anyone wants a windy day let me know when and I'll endeavour to put the tunnel up the day before)

I got my tunnel last year and went to the builders merchant who's skip had several slightly damaged packs of kitchen/laminated flooring. I got them for nothing and can sweep them and spray them down to clean them and humidify when its hot. After a year they've survived suprisingly well!
