I've just finished off making and filling out a hot bed kind of cold frame that can also double up as a very narrow greenhouse too some 6 feet odd tall
I put in the very bottom at least 8 inches of leaf mould followed by 4 inch of soil then went up in average multiples of soil and horse manure at say 4inches total depth 24 inches width is 16 inches and length some 2.4 Metres I just need to either glaze the lid of use maybe some left over poly from my diy polytunnel if theirs enough
I will post pictures when I actually glaze it
