  • advice on good crops for my Flea Bay 'poly'

Lo all, I did post on the welcome section re the poly but I realise this is the right section to find all the greenhouse and Poly experts

Now before I go zooming on and plant a load of stuff that isnt relly suitable can anyone advise me as to the right lines crop wise.

Last time ( 2 year ago) I grew loads of toms on the bottom of the racks in the extra deep 50 litre grow bags and it seemed to work quite well , I have put them at the bottom on the ground and the racks have been excellent support for the plants. This year having a bigger pretend poly ( 20 by 10) , I have dug a trench along the middle and hope to grow peas and beans along it with 6 metre net ? , I have been warned re portential mildew if not ventilated.

The trench you see on your right is only 3" deep and then filled with compost so I'm thinking it wont be much use re any root veg and will need to be perhaps lettuce / rocket etc but I welcome any tips re what is O.K tp grow there.

Is the 3" deep trench on the right O.K , for those sort of things and maybe any others ??

I also intend to grow peppers and chilis on some of the racks

    Thanks in anticipation

    Mas
