    Hi Kitykat
I was interested in your question and checked out 'pepper growing' on the BBC site. Apparently they need a min temp of 12 C, so if you 'double bag' them as suggested you woud probably get that. Have you got a max/min thermometer? its been recommended as a useful tool and you could test the overnight temp and check first.
Let us know how you get on.

we have a place called kelhelland, which grows many type of veg and fruit and sell in a shop and to businesses, popped in to see them yesterday they have peppers growing in unheatd greenhouses , he thinks that a long as we don't get a severe frost they may be alright in the tunnel. my plant are getting quite big and maybe leggy going to give it a go. The weather is quite mildish so keep my finngers crossed. I also bought some Black cherry tomatoes plants don't know what these will be like
