    • Well, things are looking good! Although a bit behind what I'm used to!

      • Into The Jungle!!

Today: looks a bit 'jungley', it's difficult to manoeuvre around in there, but it's all looking healthy...!

(The garlic and onions are a job for later - I shoved 'em in there yesterday, just before the rain came to spoil play..!! )

              I know, I'm a very lucky girl...!
When we moved here, I'd left behind a 2 years old GH which was 8x6 - and always wished I'd gone bigger (budget blah-de blah blah).........so, when my Mum and Dad passed, my legacy was spent on this little beauty, it's 12x10 - a lovely reminder of my sorely missed folks...
And what a better way to remember them by..!

                • The 'jungle' in GH this afternoon ....

DH ventured outside to see what I was doing today, and didn't realise I was tucked away in GH pottering around - he hadn't seen me concealed in amongst the foliage ......

                        • It's not looking very pretty right now. The pt is just stuffed with the larger tomato plants (shirley and gardeners delight) and also the 4 inca berries. The incas are getting pretty big now. I counted over 50 fruits on one so hoping for a reasonable harvest from those in another month or so.

LOVE growing food to eat in my little town back garden. Winter update: currently growing overwintering onions, carrots, lettuce, chard, salad leaves, kale, cabbage, radish, beetroot, garlic, broccoli raab, some herbs.

                              • Mine is looking a bit straggly. I had to take most of the leaves off the tomato plants when blight visited and now all the fruits are refusing to turn colour.

There is a thug of a melon plant at the back, but none of the melons seem inclined to stay on.
