  • Growing Veg in a polytunnel

    Hi
Daft question i know, but if any of you have a polytunnel, what do you grow in it and when?

Do you use it mainly in the winter or all the year round? Any problems in using it during the summer?

What are your favourite things to gorw in it?

I am only asking as I am thinking of getting a small one as I have been told by my council i cant get an allotment for another 3 years. So want to 'expand' things in my lottie in the my smallish back garden. I already have 3 raised beds with a plan for a 4th, an unheated smallish greenhouse and several pots and bags.

    Thanks in advance

Lou, I did a preliminary search and there are three pages of polytunnel threads: that should keep you busy for a few hours

Aha! I've just posted a similar question in the 'Allotment' section, here!

Will do! Just been to my local Waterstones, and bought 'The Polytunnel Book', by Joyce Russell, and 'The Allotment Book' by Andi Clevely. I've already got two books on allotments, which I bought in anticipation of getting one, but A.C.'s book seems to be the allotment book to have.
