Auto openers

i have nearly finished putting my greenhouse up and have two roof windows that are double panes (2 foot x 4 foot)

I have no openers on them at present and as i will be working during the day was looking at some auto openers so it doesnt get too hot during the day.

Firstly, are they any good, and secondly, are they strong enough to open a double window ?

I love mine - you will need them in a medium to large size greenhouse for sure. As for whether they will be strong enough, suggest you contact manufacturer/supplier.

They are brilliant, yes. Mine are open right now. If I'm in and out of the gh pottering and leaving the door open, the windows (vents) will close a bit

The ones I have from the greenhouse people would be strong enough to open a double window - you just would need to adjust the tension/temp settings accordingly.

I wouldn't be without mine.

I have this one Two Wests - Please enable your cookies lifts up to 12lbs, I live close by so call in as I was passing, once I got it set up its been brill.

Put it this way mine lifted half a fat snoozing cat who was on top of it He's 6kg , so that would be 3kg or 6lbs ( I think).

It's just a bog standard G**dman one I think .
