  • Greenhouse shrub to keep whitefly at bay ?

I visited a friend in Skye last week and she has such a shrub in her polytunnel.

It was about 4 ft high, open growth, with curious shaped purple flowers. I didn't look at it all that closely to try and get an idea of what it is. I got some seeds that remind me very much of cape gooseberries.

Any one any ideas of what it is?
