  • strange greenhouse set up

hi all im sure most of you saw my recent posts about a free greenhouse, well its now safely home and put back together had to buy new bolts as i snapped most of them lol.reason im writing this is after i put the roof bars back on i noticed the holes on the ridge bar that the glazing bars bolt onto are all misaligned(see pic)has anyone seen this before.obviously it hasnt affected the glazing as its been glazed for a while, was more curious than anything could be a manufacturing technique.overall a nice big greenhouse needs a lil tlc to bring it back to life after years of dereliction

At guess I would say thats been done on purpose. To prevent the two holes aligning thus weakening the main member. If that makes sense. Out with the tape measure and check the measurements of the glass and glazing bars.

check it's the right way round...or you've got the right struts in the right places...6 months to build a greenhouse?
and did you take photos before you dismantled it ?
