hi all being pretty new here i recently saw quite a bit on walk in plastic greenhouses,a.k.a blowaways and the reputation they have.well a little wilkingsons blowaway i have here has survived something that many others have not and thats windspeeds of 75 mph plus, last night saw some pretty terrifying winds here almost reaching 80 mph at times it even toppled my 6x4 aluminium greenhouse frame that is waiting for siting, however the blowaway took a pounding and did not shift an inch.its only pegged down and guyed out and weighted with rocks.if any one has one of these, tip is to use the foot long marquee pegs all round,as many as u can obtain and strong guy ropes.so far this is the only blowaway that i know of that became a stayput and lived to tell the tale not bad for a 2 year old greenhouse.if any one has one that has survived windspeeds of this nature or any other act of nature please comment and lets see if any blowaways earn the stayput medal
