Now what ?

Ok, so i have my greenhouse almost finished, (12x8), i have dug all my new allotment over, and its middle of winter !!

What do i do now ? dont want to wait untill summer, would like to get some use out of it before then, any suggestions.

Have you ordered your seeds, planned where you are going to plant everything, fed/mulched your allotment accordingly (depends on the condition and structure of your soil). I've tried to grow some herbs and salads on my windowsill but they seem to be in suspended animation as in the seeds have sprouted but aren't growing much. Don't have a greenhouse so don't know it's capabilities at this time of year. I think lack of light is my problem.

Others here are probably better qualified to give you advise but it's good to hear from somebody so enthusiastic at this time of year. Good luck.

Build some raised beds and plan your planting and rotation. Mulch with compost manure etc. plant some fruit trees and bushes.

Try some lettuce! Germinate winter lettuce indoors then see how it grows in the greenhouse.
