  • Wilkos Gardening Dept.

Went in yesterday and the new season stuff is slowly coming in. Greenhouses, cloches, trays, modules, propagators, plastic pots are lining the shelves.

Not that I saw. Not all seeds in, just Wilkos own and a few Johnson.

I have to pass mine every time I go into town, so of course I just have to pop in and see what they have, I was very good and only bought three packets and one of those was free. Oh and a dahlia.

I ordered mine via their website and then picked them up at my local store about 5 days later. Only downside was I put in two cheap propagators then didn't update my basket until later that day and now they have totally sold out of that one!!

I bought 28p Beetroot Cylindra...I couldn't help myself as nothing else was in. The racks are there though with shelf ends ready, but no staff getting the stuff out. I know I said I would go to another one, BUT I CAN'T - Wilkos, I love you...

last october my hubby popped in to wilkos and came back with a self assembly greenhouse for £9.00 it is now back in there for £45.00 and also 2 polytunnels complete with hoops for £2.00 each and they are now back in for £11.00 each so it pays to pop in as they are about to put the gardening section to bed for the winter !! as we have had some cracking buys from there and always in sept/oct
