  • Cold frame

    Just for anyone on the look out for a cold frame, I went through two plastic greenhouses last year never again....anyway I've bought and set up 2 of these very happy with them

    After the disaster of last years attempt of using a greenhouse, I too am going down the coldframe route. Building mine with brick and topping with old windows though. Has to be solid to cope with the winds here

        Wow, what a good tip! That's really cheap. How do I secure them so they don't blow away though? My garden is very windy!

          Just knock a couple of lengths of 50mm x 15mm timber into the ground at opposing corners and screw though into the timber frame.
