Anyone bought a GH from here?

Just looking for opinions as i'm after an 8X6 and they seem very reasonably priced.

Rob if you mean Waltons of Newark than yes I purchased their 8x6 some three years ago.

As with all thing there are good and bad points but I think the good outweigh the bad.

Bad points. At that time the instructions were carp. It is certainly do-able with two people but three would be better as it is very flimsy untill all put togeather. Because of its light weight the ground spikes provided would in my opinion not be good enough for the job. (this did not bother me as I was fixing to a concrete base. Spanner supplied useless (again not a problem for me I used a electric screwdriver with a nut spinner).

Good points. Delivery was spot on. Everything was as stated in the advert. All the parts were numbered which with the drawing supplied made up somewhat for the poor instructions. The glazing is not held in by clips but slides into full length channels so with a bit of silicone they are extremely secure.

During the three years I have had it I have had no problems and no loss of glazing.

    Hope this helps Colin

      Thank you Colin.

Luckily there is 4 of us, so assembly should be OK.

One thing. Would you class this model (8X6) as a good starter greenhouse so to speak

Also, are they unable to go direct on to soil?

      Thanks

I bought a 14x8 from them last week. Unfortunately as far as reviews go, its still in the box!

Delivery was as stated (next day), and I've skimmed through the instructions which at the moment seem to be fairly detailed (however I'll wait till its built to be more sure about that).

Rob, Thats exactly the one I bought in the 8x6 size, if I may make one point though. Your GH will never be big enough mine was that size because I couldn't get a larger one in the space available, just something to think about before you purchase.
