Hi all,
I've just managed to get my second greenhouse from freecycle and this one even has an automatic vent opener!
The vent opener is the "problem", it is/was made by a company called Europa Manor who have (I think) long since gone bust. It opens up OK when it gets warm but is not so good at the closing back down bit when cold.
There are two springs fitted to the outside (see photos) which pull the vent OPEN, I thought most pulled to close. It has a very small (hence the springs?) cylinder in the centre that pushes the vent open.
I'm a bit stumped how to set this one up, has anyone got a similar/same vent opener on their greenhouse or does anyone know where I can find some instructions on the net? Google, so far, has come up a big fat zero.
