hiya all hope every 1 is in the swing for spring sowing seeds ect.as some of you know a few months ago i was given a 8x12 eden greenhouse, well a lot of hard work and time its finally here sat on the lawn annoying me as i cant shift it out of the way(was plonked where i didnt want it lol),it was deliverd whole minus glass.now have steel base on order so hopefully can get it moved of lawn with a greenhouse moving party.1 big problem tho is last weekend i went to move the glass away from the house to make ready for builders and pretty much most of it is broken, only have glass for front and back and few side ones left.think frost and water trapped between panes cuased it,the ones in my small greenhouse are borrowed from this big one.has any one here got an idea on how to reglaze such a big greenhouse as i cant afford it this time.my parents told me to scrap it as its not worth spending on but i refuse to part with it tho its my pride and joy now as ive only dreamed of big greenhouses, any help would be great and thank you

I couldn't scrap that either when its done it will be the bees knees.
Even if you have to buy a little glass as and when you can afford it, it will still be well worth the time and effort.

Important. Don't even think about starting to glaze your greenhouse until you have all the glass. If it is part glazed, a strong wind will pop your very expensive glass out and you will be back to square 1.
I got very lucky in a similar situation to you. I begged for glass on freecycle and after that I got lucky. I was still 34 sheets short and oneof the other guys at the allotment kindly gave me the glass from an old greenhouse he had lying about. I had to cut glass to fit (buy the best glass cutter you can afford) and that's not easy with old glassbecause it becomes very brittle but I got there.
If you desperately want to use the greenhouse before you do have enough glass, buy some polytunnel polythene and use that. You will need to cover any sharp pieces of the greenhouse frame. Foam insulation used by plumbers to insulate pipes is great for this ( Colin, what's the proper name for this stuff?).
Hope that helps.
Make sure before you start glazing that you have enough glazing clips and nuts and bolts. Flebay is an excellent source.
Hope that helps.

what are the possibilites of getting a greenhouse glass pack from B&Q,but if all else fails for this year,it would serve nicely as a cage for a net covering, failing that,it should get a bit if weighed insigpicAnother nutter ,wife, mother, nan and nanan, love my growing places, seed collection and sharing, also one of these

Freecycle, Freecycle, Freecycle.
Get the idea. I have so far blagged (been given) two complete greenhouses including glass for the grand total of £00.00p They don't come up every five minutes but they are out there, it's worth signing up to two or three groups in your area to maximise your "give away area".
Best of luck, pavers for the base come up quite regularly too.

Nooooooo no sell
Do as Zaz saya and buy a couple a payday. Use pea netting from wilkos if you have to until that time. I think once you have enough for the roof you can put that in. I'd then collect the glass for the side where the wind is worst (you said you have front and back covered) then place that glass in, then I'd do the other side.
As long as you take the time to proper clip in the glass(even better if you know you not gonna move it silicone seal and clip it to the frame) then I'd be reasonably confident you'd be ok. You're going into summer now, so hopefully between birthdays and crimbo etc you'd be sorted for next year
But whatever you do, even if you just use it as a cage to net and protect your brassicas this year don't get rid of it, I don't want you regretting it latersNever test the depth of the water with both feet
