Cheers everyone for the encouraging words! I will keep updating with new piccys and devlopments as things progress.

The Plan is for this season try and get most of it under glass, moving panes from the far end to the door end and closing off the unglazed bit with a temporary wall. If we end up staying (new job, short initial lease) then we'll shell out for lovingly re-glazing any missing bits.

Good plan I think. A sensible plan. But I want the whole thing, naturally. I don't like the thought of some nasty plywood wall inside my precious greenhouse which makes it worth wondering if plastic panes are any cheaper than glass ones? I'm on a budget and much as I'd like to convince OH that replacing 20 panes of glass is soo much more of a necessity than groceries this month, it ain't gonna happen, but then 20 panes of plastic just [I][has /I]to be cheaper than glass, right? Right? ...fingers crossed.

Try asking for glass on Freecycle. You may be lucky. It would be a shame not to fully glaze it. If you could just get some of them....
