Currently in my greenhouse are: Tomatoes, Peas, Onions, Spring Onions, Carrots, Mixed Salad Leaves, Lettuce, Cabbage, Broccoli, Strawberries, Chives, Land Cress, Mustard and a Redcurrant bush. In about a month most of them will be evicted and have to cope in the scary old outdoors, while the tomatoes are given room to spread their wings and the peppers and chillies from the windowsill move in to keep the toms company.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.
Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

My cape gooseberry was in the middle at the far end of the greenhouse. It reached the roof and had to be restrained with strings and canes. It lived at least 5 years and babies grew from the dropped fruit. Choose the right spot and it will be your friend!!
I wouldn't worry about a snapped off growing tip - mine sprouted all over the place!
