Hiya. Newbie tunnel owner here. I need some advice. Are ants in a polytunnel bad for the plants? Went in there to do my evening water tonight & there the little ******* were. Do I panic? How do I move them on?

If they are on the plants you have probably got the dreaded greenfly. I have. A quick squirt with soapy water does the trick but won't get rid of the ants not that I think they do any harmGardening requires a lot of water - most of it in the form of perspiration. Lou Erickson, critic and poet

there probably getting ready for the greenfly invasion, waiting to farm them
I dont think they will cause you any problems otherwise, might even be helpful if you get any caterpillers
I have seen a horde of ants attacking a cabbage white, and dragging off to ther nest in the past
