new to polytunnels, Help

Hi all, decided this year to try a polytunnel, after no success the past 3 years with the plastic greenhouses,and I'm having some problems, my seedlings come up wonderful then turn brown, and then start shooting off stunted growths? i give them enough water to make sure the compost is moist, and baby bio but they all get to a certain stage and die any help would be much appreciated as i would really like my cucumbers and tomatoes to be successful this year, this is the third lot of seedlings I have put in the tunnel this year and I don't think I'll have enough time to try again if this lot fails

Whereabouts are you jono? And do you have a maximum/minimum thermometer in there, so that you can check how cold it's getting overnight? I suspect that it's the cold which is killing your seedlings, they need to be kept to an absolute minimum of 5c. My tomatoes are still being covered with a double layer of horticultural fleece overnight, and even then I've lost a couple.

I live in Wales SA18 area, I don't have a thermometer we have had some real chilly nights, I'll get a thermometer and try that, Thanks

Water less and fleece up. SA67 (Pembs) still only making 6 and 7C at night. See Two Sheds' video on watering. Seedlings don't need feeding for 4 to 5 weeks if in potting compost as it has feed in it.

And I certainly wouldn't use Baby Bio - that is food for house plants.

I would say also make sure there is enough ventilation in the day time when it's warm enough, which it should be now.
