  • Sealing a Blow away greenhouse

    Afternoon everyone,

ok im very new to this literally a few weeks,
decided to buy a walk-in greenhouse from poundstrecher and already had to take it back due to a faulty zip,
yes i know its not the best around and will buy something better after my holiday next week.

so... is there suppose to be around a 20cm gap at the bottom all the way around has this is causing a draft in the walk-in greenhouse,
im taking its not suppose to,
and wondered how i go about stopping the draft....

    Cheers

There shouldn't be, take it back again if you're buying something else in a couple of weeks.
Tried and Tested...but the results are inconclusive

I have had several over the years before I got my GH. Never had one with a gap round the bottom. There really can only be one of two explanations. (a) The frame is assembled incorrectly. (b) the cover and frame are not matched.

How much did u pay for it..you say you got it from poundstretcher ?

i bought a 6x4 walk in greenhouse from argos a couple of months ago.. they are usually about £50 but i got mine for £35...

The cover has plenty of excess at the bottom enough for me to tuck under the frame and then i secured in to a base i made from pallets.. does the job brilliantly..
