  • New Greenhouse

Well, after sitting in a box in the garden, storage and my shed for the best part of a year I finally got my greenhouse up last Saturday. 8 hours of hard work with help from my Pa, two broken bits of glass and only one bit that we had to dismantle and do again.

It's now the proud home to 4 tomato plants (in growbags for this year) and I'll be rehousing my cherry toms and cucumbers there tomorrow.

Now 8 with the addition of 4 cherry toms; 2 per growbag. Cucumbers will be in on Sat and peppers when they've grown up a bit, they're currently living in the blowaway at home. Chillies will be going in when I've cleaned & assembled the staging (the innards of an old blowaway).

Thanks for the kind words all. Now we just need some sunshine!

And I need to cover the gap above the door. It looked like they packed the wrong bit with the glass but as I've had it for over a year I doubt they'll be too happy to send me one now. Will probably block it with cardboard until I can get a bit cut to the right size.
