my local garden centre has a couple of bins by the checkout, full of trays for different sized pots .... they're free to take away when you buy something .... i have loads of them now and i've "standardised" on 3.5in pots and 5in pots so everything stacks neatly .... although i do still have thousands of "odd sized" pots to get rid of .... -
I use the blue mesh mushroom boxes that the local chinese leave outside their backdoor - it's handy cos I go past it on the way to the allotments
