That's good getting an early delivery, it saves you from being sat on the door step all day waiting for them to turn up

Great isn't it when nice things arrive, ref your base, they need to be firm,DH put some concrete edgings under ours,to stop them twisting thus breaking the glass,or if plastic will pop out,our home 2 are in a sheltered spot from any strong winds, and the lottie 1 is to heavy as made of wood,so you may need to drive some wood takes in each corner keep it grounded, especialy like you said, you on a slope, and will ajust the ground to suit, just a thought for the future

Don't know how tall you are Darcy, but I sat my GH on breeze blocks for the extra height.

I just laid them on compacted soil. It hasn't budged (yet) Mines polycarb so may have a bit more leaway than glass.

Its own weight should keep it in place.

I would however make sure the ground on which it is going to sit is level and well compacted.

The ground that it is going to sit on is heavy clay I have not turned the beds due to the plans of greenhouses being sited on the space! So it is pretty compacted.

Once the snow clears I will assess the beds I dont want to break my back but even more importantly i dont want to make a mistake that I will later regret!

                              Thanks guys.
