All I can say is that two friends of mine have similar ones and after about 9 months the covers are begining to break down!

Saga over, after getting permission I bit the bullet & bought the 4.5 metre one. Managed to get it for £54 so looks like the same one that ancee got......Just need some 15mm pipe insulation to put near any joints & help stop the cover from touching the frame.......Let the fun begin...........

I've been inside mine all day - very hot = jacket off!!!!! Digging and sorting the soil out and weeding. Making a wooden frame inside it to start tying stuff to when the time comes. Putting popped footballs over the wooden frame edges to stop the cover rubbing on the frame. Putting in a little path up the middle = heavenly!
You may say I'm a dreamer... But I'm not the only one...

I prepared my beds today & marked out where it will sit just to give me an idea of the size. Have got a few ideas in mind how to anchor it down & make timber door frames so we'll just have to wing it & see how it goes.

Dare I say it, but you lot are a bad influence - because now I want one too

That's my problem BB, I tend to "over" plan things as you may have noticed..............

I don't think you overplan - you try to work out a different/better/cheaper way of doing something. Nothing wrong with that

There is something that's puzzling me and I'll ask it here since we're talking polytunnels. Its about the greeny plastic covers. If, as everyone says, after a year or two the "squares" fall out, why do the manufacturers keep using this stuff? Is it so much cheaper than ordinary clear plastic? I really don't understand it - and I'd like to
