why do the manufacturers keep using this stuff?
I've been looking to replace the plastic on mine and the 'proper' stuff will cost about the same as BM's complete poly............and then I have to 'find' the wood to fix it to at the ends.

Thanks Thelma. It just surprises me that the manufacturers keep using stuff that seems to have such quick obsolescence - can you buy replacement covers in the same material?Comment

I'm sure that is the answer, Sarz, I just find it so disappointing - I really hate this throwaway mentality. There must be a manufacturer who could mass produce simple, plastic covers to fit instead.Comment
