  • Just ordered my first proper greenhouse :)

Have been using the large blow away ones for the last 5 years, replaced cover 3 times and now the frame has had it. Tried growing outside last year an all the toms got blighted in the wet summer, so I have treated myself from last months bonus I grafted for I just wanted a medium size one to grow my Toms an raise my squash plants in their pots untill they could go out. This one has good clear instructions so no pulling your hair out or fisticuffs whilst putting it together. I went for the poly carbonate stuff because I have Bullbreed dogs who rush about fearlessly an my nerves could not handle glass, toughened or not. If you scroll down the page to the product specification bit you can see the tab for instructions in PDF format an they look amazing compared to most I know you get the rather opaque look with double glazed poly carbon but that does not bother me, my toms rippened just fine in the green blow always . My Inlaws have similar an get fine crops. it will be here day after tomorrow. Soooo excited!!! I will just keep plying my fella with wine to placate him as he puts it all together

I have a polycarbonate one, very similar. Pics here.

I am very pleased with it.

I ended up ordering another 100 glazing clips, and I used ALL of them.

I also went through 5 or 6 tubes of clear silicone

THe only problem I have had, is that the door blew out once, during incredibly high winds. I have since sorted that by backfitting 2 x L brackets above the door. See pic.

Also, the window blew out once! I sorted this by holding the window closed tight with a couple of bulldog clip type things.
